Transferring your domain to Web of Nevada consolidates your domain and hosting billing in one place. Domain transfers typically extend your registration by one year.

Before You Start

  • Your domain must be at least 60 days old and not have been transferred in the last 60 days (ICANN policy).
  • Your domain must not be locked. Log in to your current registrar and disable the Transfer Lock (also called Registrar Lock).
  • Unlock WHOIS privacy if enabled, or ensure your authorization email is accessible.
  • Obtain your EPP / Authorization Code (also called Auth Code or Transfer Code) from your current registrar.

Initiating the Transfer

  1. Go to client.webofnevada.com and click Domains > Transfer a Domain.
  2. Enter your domain name and click Check.
  3. Enter your EPP/Auth Code and add the transfer to your cart.
  4. Complete checkout.

Completing the Transfer

After payment, you will receive a confirmation email at your domain's WHOIS contact address. Approve the transfer by clicking the link in the email. Transfers typically complete within 5-7 days.
